About

This blog is for women in their 40s who are looking for relatable reflections on fitness, life, and the very real challenges that come with this season. As we get older, things shift — energy, motivation, hormones, priorities — and yet no one seems to be talking honestly about it.

Hormones play a big role in how we feel, move, and show up after 40, and for a long time I felt like I was navigating that quietly and on my own.

I’m Stacy — a mom in my 40s, showing up imperfectly and learning as I go. I’ve been on a fitness journey for years, starting and stopping more times than I can count. Somewhere along the way, I realized the cycle wasn’t about lack of discipline — it was about trying to force myself into a version of fitness that no longer fit.

I created this space as a place to write honestly about that journey.

For a long time, I was striving for perfection. One day it clicked that life isn’t perfect — and it isn’t meant to be. It’s okay to start over. What matters is continuing forward, even when progress looks messy or slow.

Here, I share my struggles and my small wins. It’s real life, real talk, and honest reflection. You may come across the occasional affiliate link — not because I’m here to sell you something, but because I share what I personally use and what supports me.

If you’re navigating your own version of this season — trying to find your rhythm again, listening to your body more closely, or simply showing up when it’s hard — I hope you’ll find comfort here.

You’re not behind. You’re not failing.

You’re just in the middle of it.

I’m glad you’re here.
